About

We are Jeremy, Claudia and Anastasia Hazel. Our farm is a first generation family farm. In 2021 we purchased a 30 acre cotton, peanut field. We have one child Anastasia and the farm name comes from her nickname, hazelnut. As a family we have always enjoyed growing our own food. From 2015-2022 we lived in Africa amongst the Ju’hoansi and Digo people. That time taught us how to live off the land but also provide food for ourseleves in very remote locations. Living in Africa amongst simple living people gave us a passion when we returned to the U.S. to live in the same way but also provide for our community. We believe strongly in taking care of the land God has given us and restoring the land to great biodiveristy. Our Vision for the land and farm is to have a place where wildlife lives in harmony with the plants and an abundance can still be produce. We witnessed this when we lived in the Kalahari desert. God entrusted us to take care of the earth and manage it and we desire to uphold this command. We have seen firsthand nature thrive when you remove chemicals and mass production from the equation. Your welcome to come visit the farm and see this restoration in process and enjoy the fresh beyond organic bounty it provides.
